Business Hours: Heather Wright, M.Ed. is open for business Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm EST and Friday 9am-12pm EST. All services, including email responses, provided outside of these hours are at the discretion of Heather.
Time Off Policy: Heather Wright, M.Ed. is closed on weekends and public holidays. From time to time, Heather Wright, M.Ed. will notify you of additional time off.
Communication Policy: Heather Wright, M.Ed. communicates via email and scheduled phone/video conference sessions. When using email communication, please allow up to two business days for a response by email, although Heather strives to respond sooner whenever she can.
Client Sessions: Sessions will be held by phone or video conference with advanced notice. Sessions are typically scheduled using Heather Wright, M.Ed.'s scheduling calendar. There is no guarantee that her availability will match yours. If you do not attend your session, you may be billed for up to 50% of the scheduled time. If you must cancel or reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.
Call Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours notice when cancelling scheduled appointments. Repeated cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows may result in clients being billed for 50% of the call at Heather Wright, M.Ed.'s discretion.
Meeting Attendance: Heather Wright, M.Ed. typically requires 2-3 weeks notice to schedule IEP/504 meeting attendance. Meeting attendance can be in-person or virtually.
Rush Services: Heather Wright, M.Ed.does not provide rush services. She operates on a schedule and advance notice.
Billing: Invoices for services rendered within a month are provided on the last day of the month or specified in the package details email. Payment is due according to client's package detail email.
Billing Disputes: In the unlikely event of a disagreement between us regarding your services or deliverables, you agree to make a good faith attempt for 30 days to communicate with Heather Wright, M.Ed. prior to initiating a chargeback.
Confidentiality: Communication with Heather Wright, M.Ed. should be kept confidential. Consultation, advice and recommendations are unique to the client's specific situation and may not apply to another family's situation and thus should not be shared with friends or other families.
Records: Client retains their permanent records. Emails will be destroyed every 60 days to free-up storage space. Records will be destroyed 1 year after dissolution of service (end date of service package).
